Paper and mending

In my latest works, I have returned to working with humble materials, using handmade paper, old topographical maps and scraps. I use a needle and thread to assemble the parts. The essential aspects are related to the “act of sewing”: “mending” suggests the need to rearrange and correct what has been worn away by time.
